Linum Consult's client is an international industrial company well established in Africa.
They are looking for a Safety Coordinator to develop their occupational health and safety management systems in Senegal.
Developing and maintaining the overall OHS management systems
Ensuring accurate communication, information, and statistical data is captured, maintained, and archived and promptly available at all times
Ensuring that the management system deliverables are achieved and reviewed for improvements
Coordinating the site Safety team’s overall understanding of standards and procedures
Planning, driving, and reviewing the site Audit program
Developing and monitoring Safety Supervisor work programs
Hosting visits from Environment/Safety auditors, inspectors, and insurers
Composing and reviewing forms, documents, and procedures in accordance with the company’s document control procedures
Leading and driving any major incident investigations on site
Certificate/Diploma in safety and quality management
At least 4 years’ experience in safety management, with a minimum of 2 years of supervision experience
OSHAS18001, ISO14001, ISO9001 Assessor
Computer literate, with excellent technical knowledge of MS Office including SharePoint
Strong understanding of risk management and quality management systems
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Fluent in French and English
